0% apr? :eek2: no wonder you got the new one lol.

Cmike2780 03-13-2012 01:11 PM

Lol, I can't believe you went through with it so quickly. Congrats! The Z looks better in black anyways. It's a pain to keep looking clean, but looks really good when it does.

nismochiq 03-13-2012 01:59 PM

thanks guys, and yeah the 0% apr def made the deal. and it does look better in black, I am going to detail the exterior soon so I won't have to worry about anything, I bought the bug remover and degreaser for when the bugs get on my car and the bird crap. the dirt is more noticeable. I am going to buy some touch up paint for when rocks hit it along with micro mesh so I can easily fix that. I am an aircraft mechanic, so I know how to overhaul those types of engines I just need to buy the service manual for the limits and everything so I can overhaul it to new standards during the time it needs it. So I am all set on it never breaking down. I just need a garage. sometime next year.

roplusbee 03-13-2012 02:13 PM

Since you work on aircraft, that means you need a pair of turbines in your car as well!

Get a clear bra. It's definately a must if you want to keep the nose looking new. Something I wish I had done.

I would also visit the Adam's Polish or Detailer Domain site for high quality stuff to keep her....errr, him looking shiny. Also, you don't have to buy the service manual. It's on here somewhere and you can just download for free.

nismochiq 03-13-2012 04:28 PM

thanks a lot, i am not talking about that service manual, I already downloaded that one. I tell ya, maybe ill get a part time job at nissan because that looks cake compared to what I do. and I really want to invest in a clear bra, how much do they run around? and what kind of shops does them? thanks again

hahaha thanks,

I laugh every time people try to guess my job my hobby and my car...its hilarious! and thats the first time I heard that ;) normally men feel emasculated by me...but thanks for the compliment. ;) I will put some more pics up when I detail it.

You gotta admit that you are definitely not involved in stuff the "normal" chicks are into. I would have never guessed aircraft mechanic, but I thought that it was pretty cool that you are into cars and NISMO Zs to be more specific!

Lol a four year old thread bump, really?

She's referring to all the little quirks that Nissan had to work out of the first year models (2009). If you had read the thread, you would have seen a number of them listed in Post #24 :twocents:
