Try to get a feel for all the controls before setting off & let the engine warm up by driving nice & easy for the first bit.

I think the traction control had a time fighting engine power & loss of traction; so, I'd recommend asking the salesman how to turn off the traction control & go from there.

Good luck and explore both city speeds & highway acceleration.

do not listen to this comment. if the traction controls is "fighting the engine" then the tires are just super cold or you are using too much throttle......

keep the traction on until you get a feel for the car

Luckily I live in Los Angeles and the temperature is expected to be in the mid 70s tomorrow. That being said, you only turn off traction control if you are the Stig.

I drove my coworkers M3 the other day and pointed at the traction control button and asked him if he knew what it was. When he said no, I said "never press this button or you will crash your car."

My test drive was in a black one, just my Wife an I. After twisting it up and coming back down, I parked it.

Dealer asked "How you like the power?"

"Less that I'm use to" and "Find me one in Red."

Took them a week to get it shipped in. Very Happy
