Yeah same here. I bought my Z from a TN dealership and had it shipped to TX... never even drove a 370z before. I guess you could say my test drive was after I handed over the check and drove it home.
But I usually don't go to crazy on a test drive anyways. I'm not trying to give the sales person a heart attack and I really don't feel comfortable going all out on a car I'm not familiar with. OP, I would say get on it a little bit like on freeway on ramp, but don't go overboard.
