Missing under piece to bumper/front lip?

So over the weekend a friend of mine put my car up on a lift to fix and repair the lip from various scuffs and scratches. He did an amazing job painting and sanding it down but we both noticed that under the bumper there appears to be something missing. The lip is completely flimsy and offers no support at all. He noticed stress fractures in the paint from the wind and lack of support. It appears that the person before me must of really F'ed up the lip by hitting it and losing the huge plastic piece underneath. There are clips and holes underneath designed to be attached to something. The previous owner probably saw the huge piece on the ground after screwing it up and just ditched it. There is even a zip tie holding up a piece of plastic underneath. I wish I saw this earlier when purchasing the car but it's whatever, I still would of bought it. The car has no accident records. You can't notice it unless its on a lift.

There doesn't seem to be any other damage. We ended up cutting 4 metal strips and bolting them to support the lip when over speeds of 55 mph. So far it seems to help but I want to get the actual piece put back in to avoid any further complications.

My questions is this, does anybody know where I can get this piece?

Do you need the part in the upper left?

wow yea that appears to be it! How hard is it to have that piece rip off? I'm wondering what the guy before me did

That is the undertray, the one in the lower portion of the image is the coupe version.
Fairly hard to rip it off, usually it is only removed or modified when doing oil or engine work.

hmm yea he definitely ripped it off though. On the far left side of my car some of the clips where this piece attaches are completely ripped/broken off. My buddy says he can repair it at his shop if I can get the piece.

Thanks though theDreamer

Any idea where I go or who I contact to get a replacement piece?

If your friend can fix it that would be good, here is the pricing for a new one:
2011 Nissan 370z Coupe OEM Parts - LOU FUSZ MOTOR COMPANY

I would assume the previous owner saw that and did not care to replace it.

If you don't want to pay half that much for the plastic undertray on the nismo shoot me a pm. I am working with zspeed to have an aluminum one cut.

Oh yea? I was actually JUST on the phone with my buddy and we were talking about the price. At first I thought it was the $190 then I realized it was the $1200 one...after we both saw that we were like forget that

He actually mentioned about getting somebody to craft a metal piece to put in there instead. What are you guys planning out?

According to the diagram has anyone lost part 75895 while driving at high speeds? Mine flew off and took out one of my 02 sensors a few months back. I was running about 140mph when I heard a loud noise from underneath. I never heard of this before on the forums so im hoping this was a rare occasion.

I'm interested in this aluminum cover....

Why is the Nismo one so expensive? It's just a piece of plastic.
