If I can't get my hands on a 40th Anniversary 370Z, my next choice would be the Nismo, based on its looks. However, is it more of a track car?

If you want a car that has a soft ride buy a Cadillac. If you want performance buy a sports car. When the two meet, you loose too much in compromise for one another. I think you would be better off in a G.
I daily drive mine. Last edited by fuzzywuzzy; 07-03-2011 at 08:00 PM. |

Who cares what its made with. It has over 550hp and is the worlds fastest sports sedan. Either way you dont have to sacrifice luxury or performance with that one. Id have one but I just feel to young to sport a 4door Caddy. Maybe when I turn 40. lol! Anyways back on topic I see no problem with DD'n a nismo. The only thing I dont like is that we have a bunch of concrete interstates around here and driving on those gets pretty annoying. Last edited by Rooskey; 07-04-2011 at 10:50 PM. |

I DD my NISMO also. The only issue I run into are areas that have questionable clearance. You may scrape the front if you are not paying enough attention. But I would venture to say that it is nicer than any car I have owned previously. In it's current state, my S13 Fastback would beat it in a straight line, but not on the corenes and I have the most money in that car in the suspension. Plus the ride is a bit softer, yet more firm in the Z than my S13 Fastback. Go figure.......
If you have to carry more than a couple of bags, that could be the issue with the NISMO or any Z for that matter. Test drive one, you will be hooked. Rob

I DD the Nismo as well and will continue to do so for about the next year or so.

As long as you have the shipping spacers removed from the NISMO the ride isn't all that much stiffer than the Sport package Z. Though you should test them back to back to see for yourself.
The big difference will be in the luxury appointments. The 40th will get you leather, Bose (which is worlds better than the base NISMO system unless you're an audiophile and plan on replacing the system anyways), heated seats, bluetooth, etc. For a daily driver I prefer the Sport + Touring over the NISMO mainly for the fact that it's just a much nicer car on the inside. Much easier to live with.
