15mm spacers+drop vs. stock
thought you guys might want to see the difference between a stock nismo (black wheels) and one with 15mm H&R spacers and Tein springs.

15MM doesn't look much different.

its because hers isnt dropped.

That's right, dropping will induce negative camber, and the 15 mm spacers helped to push the wheel and tire out so they're more flush with the fender again.

im also rockin a tad more camber which takes away from the spacers look.

It does make a difference, that 15mm difference bugged the hell out of me when I had the nismo rims with no spacers.

Are those 15mm front and back? I am doing 20mm front and back are rubbing issues common?

Would it be best to run 20mm all the way around or 15mm. I'm dropped on Tien monoflex coilovers. Running the nismo wheels with 305/30/19 tires on the back

Spacers have nothing to do with the alignment. Thats all in how low you wanna go and if your willing to spend on proper equipment.

so yes spacers effect your ability to maintain a stock camber setting and still be flush. if you run -1.5 of camber on a 20mm spacer the tire should rub. with a 15mm spacer it wont. ......cant believe i had to clarify that, or did I.. :P |
