10,000 miles brakes squeak?

soo anyone else have this light squeel in 3rd gear braking.. i live in florida so most of my braking is with the engine and my rotors still look perfect but hot or cold sometimes they just make noise

i do have the optional brake pads which i could understand contributes to the noise but i just want to see if anyone else has this problem

your gunna need your windows down loll cause thats the only time i hear it and i know its going on cause im the only car on the road at 2 am haha

You can pull the pads and coat the backing plates with some Permatex brake-quiet and that should get rid of the squeaking.

3rd gear braking?

Do what M4A1 said and coat your pads with shim grease, and check the pad life.

I have been getting light squeal since 5,000 miles off my nismo pads. Its probably the nature of the beast with these once theyre broken in. My car has a little over 9,000 miles now but its tolerable.

If you are experiencing a squeal under light braking, then the brake-quiet grease on the pad backings will get rid of it.
