Nismo Strut Tower Bar info needed

Can someone with a Nismo 370Z take a look at their strut tower bar for me? I am wondering if that Nismo emblem on top sits down in an indentation on the bar or if it is just stuck on top of it. Aka, if you didnt have the emblem, can you see "Nismo" indented on the bar or is it just a sticker on top of a flat bar?

Thanks in advance!

Rest easy, its just a badge that sits flush on the brace. No indentations on my Z.

lol sorta have no idea what your talking about haha and wait mine is not mounted on the bar......

Thanks for the information! I guess then the bars are identical except for the extra side bracing. :)

I was sort of wondering that myself, thinking about having mine powder coated and they will most likely have to remove the emblem to do that. I will apply another one after.

Might be cool to powdercoat over the emblem and then a clear coat on top, so its like an embossed Nismo then instead of just being a stick on..? :happydance:

:iagree: hmmm Great idea! I'm going to get mine powder coated and was wondering what to do about the emblem, may just leave it on, I was going to powder coat the strut bar Silver to match the engine, by leaving the emblem on, it will look like all one piece of steel. :tiphat:

gotta watch out. Powdercoating sticks to metal. The sticker isnt metal. So it may not stick to it properly (probably best to ask a powdercoater what exactly would happen)

just sayin should probably look this up first.

Mike powdercoats the Nissan sticker on the brake calipers without issue, should be fine but never hurts to ask.

what he does there is powdercoat the calipers. Apply the vinyl sticker. Then clear it over. I believe. But yah its best to ask him directly lol.

I don't think that the NISMO emblem on my NISMO strut bar is a sticker, seems to be metal? :ugh2:

I think its plastic and it may or may not melt if powdercoating is attempted.
