Havent yet... I am dying to try one out... And I am still very confused as to what which one I want. Like I said before I am kind of waiting for the '12 model to see if any cool changes take place.

thats kind of how I feel... it would be a no brainer if it had the option for nav. but I am sure it was a decision NISSAN made to keep the cost of the car down. I am sure the nav/leather upgrade wouldve bumped the price up to like 43-44K.

A huge benefit of Aftermarket Nav/radios is that you can always upgrade the radio every so often. Which is a downfall on the factory units. you are stuck with the old technology for as long as you have the car, which for me would be a LOOOONG time...

Congrats Z3409068 on the Nismo ride, you'll thoroughly enjoy it thanks, the HU is a Kenwood DNX7140, I'm pretty pleased with it. You can also checkout reviews for the newer releases (DNX8860/9960) as they have some niftier features.

The stock navi goes where the cubby is in your anniversary Z. You will not be able to put a stock navi in. You need and aftermarket like the Kenwood, Alpine or Pioneer. You can still connect to your steering wheel controls, add a rear camera, and bluetooth connectivity.

Not to add more fuel to the fire but what is the neccessity for the navigation? I do wish i had the heated leather coming from florida to washington state sucked! one day i may come across some heated leather and transplant.

imo, it's not really necessary, but the stock h/u sucks so bad that if you're gonna upgrade it anyway, might as well get a nice aftermarket one that has the built in nav while you're at it.

Hey man, to each their own I knew that I had to have one in my car even if I ended up not using it as much.
