Default Driving Tips

I'm sure there are better drivers in here then me and its been awhile since I drove a stick. But how the hell do you guys launch with the VDC off? I get nothin but wheel spin. Not even hard launches. And if I do a hard launch say 2k - 3k rpms with the VDC on I still get some wheel spin. The VDC light comes on, my back end kinda gets loose, kinda fun, but it seems like it would go so much faster if it could just bite. And switching gears, when I'm gunnin it and doing fast shifts it feels like there is a delay from the time I have switched and engaged the clutch to going to the rear tires. Is that typical from the kind of differential 370s have? Even at higher speeds, gear switching from 3rd to 4th to 5th it feels like there's a delay. The Nis is lovin the cold weather and the drop ins. Best 0-60 5.3 secs.
