That is a VERY good reason to buy a Nismo. That and not having to buy a body kit, rims and whatever visually appealing things it has. I see 350z's almost everyday and man does it get boring. The only one that really caught my attention was a white nismo.

Well as for me, I HAD a 2011 PW Touring/Sports loaded on order for the last 2 months just to find out a few days ago that all 370z orders have been cancelled due to the events going on in Japan (understandable) although I was TOTALLY bumbed when I found out. I IMMEDIATELY contacted my dealer (who was more bumbed because he had 4 on order for customers) so he asked if I wanted him to look for ANY Z's that he could located, and well, he found what I'm driving today, a magnetic black NISMO and to be quite honest, I couldn't be happier, WOW what a car, turns heads everywhere I go!

I have a 2010 Nismo with less than 3,000 miles. I would like to trade my Z for a base model or touring edition. A straight up trade would be perfect as long as you have less than 200 miles on your Z. If not some good aftermarket body kits, exhaust, intakes, or suspension systems would be great as long as the parts have been installed by you (professionally). Hell if you have LTH's I may give you some boot $$. Body kits and sound systems go a long ways too!!

got my nismo because of the looks and a little bit of more power plus a rough ride does not bother me none. i came from evos and both my viii mr and x were modified and tuned. also after getting my nismo i wanted to keep it stock form because it is rare to see it out in the road. the most i might do are coilovers and drop in filter from knn. but since ive canyon ran my car it doesn't seem to need coilovers maybe unless i track it. i love my z. don't think id trade it for anything else unless it craps out on me. other models should just be a preference on what u are looking for and what are you willing to do. if u like it get it. if u don't get a different one.

Holy thread resurrection Batman..............
Get what you want and be good with it. Don't hound folks about which model is better/worse, especially since this is a 370Z forum. I mean are BASE, TOURING, and NISMO 370Zs different cars or something? These threads should just die.

also
you don't have to mod the exterior of a nismo!

I bought my Nismo over the sport/touring simply for the collector value. I have no plan of ever selling it and keeping it completely stock or if I do mod. it in any way all the parts are going in bags and wrapping so that one day far from now it will have all the orginal parts. I enjoy having an individually numbered car of which not many were produced. For me personally that means more than any mod. you could ever do to a "regular" 370Z
