Ok...hate all you want but....the Nismo is nothing special and its not even faster than a regular Z. A touring sport Z has more features and is nicer than the Nismo. Its just a base Z with a body kit and now people have realized its nothing special. I have said all all along that the Nismo "should be" to the 370 what the ZR1 is to the vette......and its not.

I like my Nismo. I know its not faster, better, or more special than a regular Z.... It's just different. I like the difference. I don't feel entitled because I own one, I simply feel good about my purchase. I like your Z. I like my Z. Should Nissan have done more to the Nismo, Yes. Did they, No. Did I know then when I bought it, Yes. |

I think its just people wanting a Z without really knowing what you get with a Z. Most people dont get that a sports car is suppost to be loud and it has some cabin noise. They just go out and buy one and think I'm going to get the one with the most HP. Then give the car a bad name by complaining about things that should have been understood when they bought the car.
Oh and on the non nismo vs nismo, I would have not bought a 370z if they did not offer a Nismo. I would have just stuck with my 300zx.

It's funny how the people who hate on the Nismo try and try again to say it's nothing special it's not any better you are a fool if you bought one. Fact is it is slightly better. We know it could have and should have been even more but for what it is it's pretty damn cool. You can make any car better we know and understand this. It's the fact it came from the factory as a complete package. Yes yes yes it needs more but to say it's not worth it is one thing to say people are fools for buying it is another. And once again It's more than just a body kit! Why buy a shelby gt500 for thousands more when you can get a GT and do the same bit and have it go faster. Why get a GT just get the V6 and supercharge it or turbos....Why buy anything just buy the base whatever and dress it up. yeah yeah yeah. For those of you that like doing that, GREAT. Some of us want it all straight from the manufactuer without having to do too much. On and on it goes...... There are more non nismos for sale than nismos. Probably the same ratio as production numbers. Is because when you see a Nismo somewhere it gets more attention than your standard Z.......... Attention NISSAN make the NISMO have way more HP than a standard Z next time. Then the Z owners won't be divided. P.S. should I get a base frontier or the pro 4x????

And of all places in the nismo section. I dont understand why there is so much hate towards a trim model. I wonder if the GT/BASE mustang owners hate on shelby owners or the BASE/WRX guys hate on the STI owners. I came from this same exact thing with the last forum I was on for my sentra, and the only difference is, the car owners are older, and the reasons to hate are even more childish. OP, I would think most people either got in over there head with the car financially, or you just haven't noticed the other Z's being sold/totalled as of late. |

it's kinda like in the tennis forum: if you play with the racquet that roger federer uses, some people would say, you're not good enough to use that racquet. sell that racquet and buy another one
