some people in this thread have made mention that speed is the only thing that matters. or features..
if that was the case we'd all be driving used corvettes, turbo'd honda's, or a hyundai for features etc. I like the way the Nismo looks but I got a touring sport w/ nav cus i wanted the features. Too many times people think that their decision making process is the only one the world should follow and well thats just plain douchebaggery. As for the original topic, no. 1 reason why people are selling the 370z nismo or non nismo is probably regret. You see alot of people get this car on impulse because its good looking, because its nice to sit in, its nice to drive. They dont really think long or hard 6 months down the road about how their life would be every day with it. I think that this issue actually goes beyond simply this car and is an issue in the US society as a whole. but eh they gotta learn one way or another and no better way to teach em than make em lose alot of money when they sell it. |

(oh, and some folks apparently want to sell their new 370z as per some threads on here b/c they don't fit in them.:ugh2:) |
I love the way the Nismo looks. If only it came with leather and Nav. :(

I love the the way the Nismo looks inside and out over any other model Z. That's why i bought it. Im sorry base model guys those fangs are not appealing, not even to the cars designer randy rod likes how it turned out. If there was one thing he'd change it'll be the front end.
Is the nav unit that much user friendly over having a portable nav? I personally like having a cubby storage in that location anyway. Are the leather seats that much warmer in the winter and so more comfortable in blazing heat in the summer? Weights really not an issue either I guess. Im wondering if the Z offered a sun roof would you guys be all over that to? Its pretty simple to figure out why ppl buy base model/touring Z over a Nismo Z.Cause of financial issues or your going to rape the car to its core of most its Oem parts and throw crazy amounts of expense aftermarket up grades on it. The only thing im disappointed in was the exhaust on the Nismo. To me this Nismo was worth it. Cause its rare and original. I hate having what everyone has. You guys are right, there's mad hating towards us and im tired of reading posts on how Nismos aren't worth it. |

Back on topic...... 370s are Not DD especially if you have a family. Maybe ppl realize it later after spending 40k - 30k its not as practical as they think. When you live in elements of weather this car should be parked. Sunny dry days with smooth pavement are the moments the Z outshines most cars. You can't just own a Z. You must have another vehicle. People are trading them in also cause they just can't afford the Insurance. I pay 519 a month helre in Nj! Matter of fact it cost me 1k just to drive this car a month. That's a house payment! Life is stressful enough let alone dealing with a car u can't afford and can't drive all the time. Car dealers will take full advantage of you as well. You end up regreting when you buy a car that can't handle in the rain, snow and cold climates. Most real good saleman aren't gonna tell you a Z isn't the right car. Their focus is the sale, not the blizzard outside. |

I like the leather seats on mine... and my 19 year old Acura seats weren't cracked or hard - just worn out on the bolster.
I like the Nismo look a lot, but I wanted something with more features than the NSX. If I could have gotten a Nismo/Touring/Nav/7AT, that would have been my choice. I don't think the Nismo suspension would be worse than my Bilstein/lowered NSX, and I know it wouldn't have been worse than my HKS Rally setup on my MR-2, which I daily drove for ten years. It was so stiff the mechanic asked me if I wanted it taken off after his test drive, before I had driven it! :D |
