Nissan Motorsports. PN 62851-RTZ40 List for $438.89. I've had one on order since July. Still haven't gotten it.

NO! Brake ducts are $612.00 each. You need two. Plus the grill. Total $1662.89 plus shipping. Plus the Stillen brake duct kit, plus the hose reducers

Can't I just have a body shop cut holes in my nismo bumper and fit the brake ducts? Wait I need the Stillen kit too o_O?

He said direct from Nissan (only). Means it probably isn't worth it.

Edit: At least for me. Just seems like a whole lot of money for little to no return. $600 plus install would be reasonable. $1600 on the other hand...

ah, if you don't actually want brake ducting but just the "look" then you don't need the stillen kit, jut the ducts and bodywork to attach them. Not sure about effect on the car with the air just going in the bumper and swirling around but probably not a big deal.

BUT i hate personally the idea of faux sh!t like that on a car, it's like a big rear wing on fwd car, but it will look good (your ducts, not the spoiler exampel)

the ducts are only "worth it' if yu are tracking hard enough for brake fade even with fluid and pads upgrades, otherwise, no it's a total waste of $$ unless you just love the look.

I love the look but I don't love it for ~$2000. I'm an "enthusiast" that might track my car once or twice in its lifetime.

if yu "have" to have the ducts, yu could proably just get the actual ducts and skip the stillen brake ducting hose etc since you don't need them hooked up.

Yeah I'd want them to be functional, that's the problem. Otherwise you're like those guys who put TYPE R stickers on honda civics and those turbo "whoosh" soundboxes under the hood (it's a real thing, I'm serious).

On the other hand, I love the look and it'd make a really unique "look" for the bumper. I don't see how it'd be that much different from someone who goes with say...the Amuse kit.

Kinda torn. I'll probably let it ride until Spring. I PROMISED my girlfriend I was done with the car for a while after the FI exhaust/cats/tune in a week or so.

Nifty. Would those fit with the RC bumper vents?

well, that makes me feel better lol. I was starting to think you might get them but not hook them up to the brakes with the hose kit. lol.

Supposedly the amuse kit is actually functional and wind tunnel tested. I'm not sure about that but at least for sure our nismo kit was.
