I agree, but at its current height i was bottomed out the side skirts and the front lip, bending my bumper many times. . I don't know if its a PA thing, or i just am not good at owning a 'low' car.

I hear you. Being lowered definitely has its con's. I'm on coilovers and almost always have to remove the bumper to get any work done to it since most shops can't get it on their lift or are to scared to even try. This is my Z as it stands now, waiting to get an alignment.

MJB,
Those are just the stock wheels powdercoated black, right? Any issues with chipping? Looks awesome. Did you paint or PlastiDip the door handles?

You took your Foam off the front? Any problems with the front piece? I was thinking of doing the same thing. To me it looks like the foam blocks the air from the intakes.

That is exactly why I took the foam piece off. Way more air flow without it when using the Gen3's. So far no problems.

Until you hit something at 2 MPH and wonder why you need a new bumper.

^ Tell that to some of the FI guys. Some of them have to remove the entire crash bar in order to fit their intercooler.

You are not really supposed to be hitting anything though.. I have not hit anything in over 20 years! But people have hit me.. So I wont be modding my back end of the car anytime soon!

Yeah, I doubt a 12oz piece of foam is really going to save your bumper in the event of a fender bender, even at 2mph. Either way the bumper would be damaged.
