Those in the picture are the same canards as I have.

I disagree, canards help with downforce. Actually, car manufactures like GM use them on the new vette zr1 and the camaro zl1 from the factory. EVO-R has canards coming for the 15+ Nismo z I would wait for those and put on the beautiful white Nismo. As far as the Nismo decals it is a little bit over kill, I think people will realize he is in a real Nismo z.
I'd be shocked if the EVO-R ones were functional

Yes, I was saying those specific canards are counter productive, as in they are diverting air the wrong way...lol

You want your canards to create downforce.

Idk....This can be argued by both model owners until the end of time... it is totally subjective.... but I think that they tried too hard to make the Nismo pick up on the GTR characteristics with the make over. From the rear it doesn’t look anything different from a Sports model with the rear spoiler unless u really take a hard look

I will give the interior to the 15 and up Nismo though...hands down...Again totally subjective...

Used to be Base+Sport Nismo.....

Now it's 15+ Nismo 14 Nismo 09-13 Nismo....

Putting down others to elevate oneself's purchase....is that necessary?

I suggest to just celebrate how competent the base car is.

i dont really care what anyone bought

i'm just pointing out the reality of the situation. Prior nismos were mainly exterior packages. at least the current one has recaros

but whatever you want, just dont lie to yourself about what each trim is

To be fair the older nismo's still had nismo specific seats, the recaro's are just a bit more unique. One could argue the newer nismo has a less unique exterior with the removal of the 09-14 nismo wing being replaced with a sport spoiler, and with the front fascia shared with a damn sentra nismo.

Disclaimer: Not claiming any year(s) are better than others, it is very subjective.

The pre 2015 Nismo had the same seats as the regular Z, just with a nismo logo

The 2015+ Nismo wing is not the same as the sport spoiler, to the point where if you pull it off you can see how the rear bumper is extended to accomodate its thickness

Front facia "shared by Sentra"? The Nismo Z facia debuted in 2015. Nismo Sentra in 2017. Sorry

Anyways, everyone is being defensive about the pre 2015 Nismo when it's simply reality what it is.

The bottom line:
All the Nismos from any year don't really add enough to justify the difference in MSRP.

The gap shrinks when you go to the used market, where it's down to condition and mileage.

The 2015+ Nismo literally offers more stuff, such as the seats and shorter gearing, or the tech interior

The pre 2015 Nismo has a much stiffer suspension, this is well documented. Whether its "better" or not is dependent on the individual and what they want

No matter what, anyone modifying their Z is tossing the suspension, intake, and exhaust ANYWAYS, so really what it comes down to is which body kit you want and whether you care about the seats.
