Aftermarket exhaust question...

For Nismo owners with aftermarket exhaust systems... do the tips appear sunken in in relation to the rear fascia compared to the stock exhaust?

I ask because most aftermarket exhaust designs are based on the regular Z which have shorter rear bumpers than our Nismo's and upon a quick visual inspection of our stock exhaust tips, they do appear quite lengthy. I'm interested in getting an aftermarket axleback exhaust but would reconsider if the tips are lost in the rear bumper.

The Stillens appear to "stick out" a bit more than most that I've seen. I've just fitted an Akrapovic and the tips are separate from the rest of the backbox, so you can actually move them in or out to suit.

Thanks chippy, Akrapovic was a good example because they do sell just the axle-back portion of their exhaust. The particualr exhaust that has caught my eye is the one by Fujimura Auto because I like their dual canister design but its tips looks flush with the stock rear bumper of the regular Z from the pictures I've seen which I think would make it look sunken in on the Nismo.

Anyone else care to chime in?

Just get the HKS exhaust with the adjustable tips.
