Limiter?

Its electronically limited, but a tune will easily take that off.

You will not hit the speed limiter at VIR in a stock car, you'd need about 400whp.

cool deal... im seriously looking at a new nismo and will be tracking it in the s.e. area tracks. The evo I had a few years back would hit 150ish by the 0 marker on the backstraight, and i wondered if the better aero would get the nismo there.

Either your speedometer was way off or your car had some serious mods. I've only seen seriously prepped cars hit 150 at VIR.

it had about 365hp to the wheels... and it doesnt take all that much to get there. Most Z06's will do it. and it wasn't the speedo, done with telemetry setup. I was hoping that the 350hp and good aero would help the nismo...

A Z06 has 500hp, over 400whp so it should do it no problem. The Nismo has just under 300whp so that isn't going to be enough. The straight line aero on the Nismo is worse than on the base car as it is designed to add some down force.

My Nismo will beast on my buddies sport touring 09 370 on the highway all the way up to cut-off and hes got the 7 speed auto. You guys need a lil more experience with the actual car before you run it down
