I know what the thread is titled as I stated multiple times, in opinion form of course, its NOT worth it. Based on my post, I obviously know what the topic is labeled. You are basically favoring your side, just as I favor my side in this argument. BOth of us are responding or defending statements the exact same way. You are pro nismo and im not. You make points, I make points. You mention flaws, I mention flaws. Some dude wants opinions and you think the whole world is going to agree with your statements? Obviously since this is posted on the form, he is somewhat unsure if the value or cost is worth it. Which in return is shows us that another person has doubt in the NISMO package. PS: Just saw a guy on the forums wanting to sell his NIsmo brake set, from NISMO 370z for better brakes... WHY NOT buy the base or sports, and then build on from there? eliminating NISMO parts is the whole reason you drive a NISMO. Sad when you see NISMO owners replacing nismo parts. They dont even believe there the best out there. |
To answer your question, I had three sugar free rockstars, 16 oz and vacation mode for 1 week and a half. Work and evening classes return next week so Im enjoying my time off.
And if NISMO were to make an energy drink, I would argue that its the best bang for your buck lmao... BTW this should be a sticky for new non-z members looking at buying a nismo.... They need to view this valuable 11 page book of information on nismo worthiness :) |

FYI, the NISMO has Akebonos just like the Sport model, there is no such thing as NISMO branded brakes. Forward me the link, I may want to buy those brakes  |
I know they are called Akebonos as you can see on page 8 or 9 or maybe 10 lol. I acknowledged them as Akebonos ;)

All I have been reading from you is how much money you can save by making a regular Z into a nismo or better. If you want to really go down that path then you might as well say that 370z is not worth it and you should get a different car if you want to save as much money as you can with gaining as much performance right? I see a dozen Z's everyday where I live, but I have not yet to find one nismo. Maybe im unlucky, maybe I am not, I like the fact that its rare and a special edition. Touring sport and the nismo price difference is not that big. This is the way I see it, do you want to keep your car stock? Go for the nismo, if you want to mod the car then don't because you will be replacing the parts. This is not a very hard decision. |
All I said, again, isn't how to replicate a nismo but how much of a modded Z would relate to the nismo. A nodded 370z and nismo are not so far apart... Both are paying the extra bucks for additional, not required, performances.

you guys aren't going to convince each other :)
i was sold on the car the moment i read that it looked like 'an angry catfish' :D |

billet370 are you just trying to justify the price you paid or what? you sure do care alot about this topic....
|
base, sport, touring are not "better" than Nismo's...it just depends on what direction you want to go...for what you get with a Nismo stock its definatly worth it IMO.
