Default Fenders chipping?

Hello everyone, I have a small amount of paint chipping of the rear fenders whee they meet the bumpers. The paint is chipping off because the fender and the bumper were making contact. I showed Nissan (local) and they put it on record. I also talked with Nissan USA and they made a file for me reflecting that there is a issue. Is this normal for anyone else?

I guess I might be too in to the details, the paint is coming from in side the seem where the two pannels meet. Thanks for the responce. I havent noticed the fine scratchs yet, looking foward to that!

I think that there are other posts on this problem. My car has them also. It is a very small spot, but it is there from the panels moving slightly.

I'm getting it on the actual bumper though where it meets the quarter panel on both sides.

This was talked about some time ago with the early 09's.

I have it on my fenders, but on the actual arches that surround the wheels.

That would most likely be stone chips, no paint is going to hold up to that.

Some other owners here had this same problem about a year ago, there was a thread about it, so you are not alone, and sounds like it is a recurring, random thing.

Gang,

Welcome to the world of Nissan paint...! It sucks. I traded my 03 for an 370 last year and it too had the same problem with paint chips
