I had test pipes on my OEM Nismo and didn't care a whole lot for it. It was definitely louder but there was a lot of rasp and still not the level of volume I was looking for so I went to FI HFC to get rid of the rasp. Therefore I then decided to replace the Nismo exhaust with the FI exhaust and have now went with a set of GTM Res. test pipes and it's just what i wanted. I wanted loud and exotic but no rasp. heres a vid.

johnnydrama, thanks so much for the vid!

One question: do you get soot on your rear bumper from your resonated test pipes like this guy did from his test pipes?

anyone else with test pipes get this.....?

Thanks

So test pipes are a straight through resonator that replace the cats? Wouldnt that throw codes like crazy or am i missing something?

I think im gonna remove the muffler, run straight pipes out that area, throw in a 2 high flow cats (stainless off brand), and run a couple of the longest powersticks that'll fit. Should bring out the exotic hidden away, just dont want it too loud...

Ill check that vid when i get home, no sound on this computer
