Which exhaust makes more power?
Nismo owners... I wanted to know if anyone has put on a different exhaust on their car? I wanted to know how much more power the exhaust makes over the standard catback nismo exhaust. The information that I have found from all the exhaust manufacturers only apply to base model 370.

No one has changed their exhaust? Anybody?

I went with a Fast Intentions exhaust but don't have any dyno numbers that I can provide. I typically go with aftermarket exhausts primarily for the sound. Fast Intentions was exactly what I was looking for. Nismo exhaust was just a little to quiet for me.

I went with Berk CBE. Amazing sound, amazing quality, and a generous boost in the butt dyno.
The stock Nismo CBE, from Nissan themselves, is listed at only 5 whp. All of the major exhausts available to us run between 14-20 whp (assuming it's your first exhaust mod) or a little less if you've already upgraded to HFCs. Visually, the Nismo looks great. FI, if you're going for an aggressive look, is tops in that department. Berk has a stock look to it, and I certainly miss the bigger tips of the Nismo CBE. All said and done, I couldn't be much happier than what I am with the Berk CBE. It completely changed my driving experience, honestly. |

Just had FI installed, along with Berk HFC and NST pulley kit. Car revs more freely now and the increase in power is noticeable at the top.

I just don't understand why these manufacturers of these exhaust haven't put out dyno number for there exhaust on the nismo? They have done it for other cars.

Edit: To answer the main question, I think a lot of Nismo owners are first changing to HFC/RTP to open the exhaust up. |
