WOW, I am so glad I checked out this thread! I'll be damn sure to check out my car when I get home tonight after work! I just got it on 03/26/11 and was thinking that it rides pretty stiff, now I'm wondering if this issue is the reason why. I'll let everyone know soon!

No, only the Nismo has them because of its low front fascia.

Hello Z Fam! Ever since I was a kid I've wanted two cars, a Porsche 911 Turbo and a Z. I finally took delivery of my 2011 370Z Nismo in Gun Metallic about 3 weeks ago...and I don't care if I ever get the Porsche! Been reading the board for a few days now and finally joined last night. I'm traveling and don't get back home till Sunday and the very first thing I'm doing is checking for these little bastards! Thanks for the heads up! I'm lovin the cars and the discussions on here, and am stoked about being a part of this movement. Looking forward to meeting some SoCal Z people very soon. Cheers!

Thank you Crazy4Z. The shipping spacers that started this thread (see 1st page).
I hit the LBC for work about 2-3 times a month. Do you know if there are any meetups around our way? I'd love to run with a bunch of other Zs and hang out. Can't wait to run mine through the mountains up this way. |

I just got my 2016 Nismo 2 weeks ago, saw this Forum, went and checked and sho nuff, I had 3 spacers on each front coil. I took it in today and had them removed. Initially, I thought the ride was a little soft when I bought it, and that it looked higher then the 2009 that I traded in. Now, the ride is firmer (by that I mean I can feel more of the road), yet the bumps aren't as dramatic as with the spacers in. Plus it looks way cooler with it lower in the front.
