Awesome share thank you!
|
great stuff. Just got my car last weekend and it is coming off tonight....
|
Got mine Saturday. Looked last night and I have 3 on each side. Off to the dealer this afternoon.!!
|
^Just lift the car up and take them off. They come right off without any force.

Jack up then front a few inches and pull them out. Very easy and stress free. |

I'm glad this has helped so many people! |
Wow. Another one here. Thanks for the heads up on this issue. Probably would have driven forever and never been the wiser. I had all 6 still in (3 on each side). Went to a local tire shop (I don't have a jack) they jacked it up and removed them in about 3 seconds.
Unbelievable. Without this forum post I never would have known. Thanks so much!! |
Question: I had 3 on the front left and 3 on the front right. Are there any on the rear? Guy at the tire place I had jack the car up said he did not see any on the back, but just want to be sure. Anyone finding these on the back -- or are they just on the front?
Thanks |
Just purchased a 40th Anniversary edition. Does anyone know if it shipped with spring spacers, too, like the Nismo models?

*sigh* i had checked this thread and the front when i first got my car (2700 miles ago). Didnt see anything but I had asked at the dealership and they said they got them. Changing the oil today and sure enough, one on each side, near the top of the spring, couldnt see them w/o it being jacked and w/ a flashlight.
Truly a thread that needs to be bumped every now and again. |
It's obvious it's doesn't matter what part of the country you are in, no ones is immune! Nissan needs to communicate this to the dealers better.
|
Thanks for the info guys, much better ride
|
Remove 2 spacers 1 on each side much better ride back doesn't hurt anymore 1/2" drop in front :driving:
