+1 on leave the girlfriend, and her credit, out of it.
The 14k down is so you don't end up owing more than the car is worth when you drive it off of the lot. You have to leave emotion out of the showroom. If they don't want to dance to your tune, find a new partner. Nissan made a couple of thousand 17 Nismo's. Another thing to look into: insurance on just my Nismo was going to be $2,100 per year. (I have 2 20 something boys living at home). My driving history is clean, and I had a 6 year relationship with that insurance company. My *former* insurance company. My advice would be to wait 6 months and look around again. Good luck, whatever you decide. Kirk B. |
