nismo factory oil cooler
I'm sure this has been addressed in other threads, but I can't seem to find answer to this question. I have a 16 nismo and want to track it. Is there a factory oil cooler installed already and is it big enough to handle Florida summer temps?

All 370z's '12+ have the tiny coolant to oil cooler. This will NOT be enough for hard track driving. Check out either Z1 Motorsports or Fast Intentions for a quality air to oil cooler kit. Being that you're in Florida I'd go with the 34 row.

Im not tracking and im getting the Z1 kit. Im already at 230 temp spirited driving and it only high 70s right now.

I think the FI is the way to go. There also seem to be good step by step instructions on this site. Might as well get the 34 row. I've had three track days already, but it was cold on all three days, forty's to start the day and 60's for the high. Oil temps approached 260, hope that wasn't too high. Would like to go in April and temps will hit high 80's I'm sure. Thinking about Hotchkiss front sway bar as well. That seems to be an economical upgrade.

I am in the Savannah, Ga. area. I did my own install in my totaled Nismo. I need to get a few pieces before I re-install it on my current Nismo. I have been dragging my feet due to neck surgery from said wreck. It is taking forever to heal.

Did you wreck on the track? It happens more often than I would have thought. There were 2-3 wrecks each of the days I was at Sebring.
