Default 2014 370z Nismo - Any Issues?

I am about to pull the plug on a purchase of a 370z Nismo 2014 but I do not want to buy another problem:

1. Z06 Corvette: valve train issues cause the engine to crap out.
2. WRX STI: Ringland failure causes the engine to crap out
3. BMW M3: Connecting Rod bearing clearance issues causes the engine to crap out.
4. Hellcat: Superchargers crap out.

Each of their forums have tons of threads regarding these issues. All these cars I have owned and allot of these issues may be the minority but I would rather own a car that has historically not had their engines or transmissions crap out.....leaving the owner with a massive bill.

I have done allot of research and it appears the 370z or 370z Nismo are rock solid with no engine nor transmission issues....I think!!???

Please tell me in advance of any issues that I may be missing or that have occurred that cost the owners a ton....THANKS!!

14 Nismo here w/20k no issues...just waiting on the dreaded CSC to crap out on me. This is my second 370. Previous had 60k and zero issues, beat on daily too.

I agree with Z-Girl on this one. Other that the CSC issues, I think you will like the car.

Is this just a Nismo thing or do all manual 370z's have this problem?
How much does it cost to fix said Concentric Slave Cylinder problem?
Worst case ...what will it cost through the dealer?
Is this a 1 day or 1 month at the dealer fix?

All manual 370s have the issue, and no one here will recommend replacing with factory parts because they'll just break again. ZSpeed aftermarket CSC or Z1 CSC delete are you best bet.

Zspeed CSC and new oem master cylinder (recommended to be replaced while the transmission is out) would run you ~$500 for both. There are better options now than the Speed csc like the Cmak csc but that would cost you a little more. Labor wise, you can expect $500-700 based on your shop's hourly rates (6-8 hrs). Some people spend more than $2k because they opted to upgrade to a better clutch and lightweight weight fly wheel.

Cars are rock solid, surprised to hear about your HellCat, I have an SRT8 that I've owned for 9 years with absolutely ZERO issues.

Don't let these comments scare you as far as the CSC issues. Some cars have had the issue with only a couple thousand miles, some go thousands of miles, and others have not had an issue. Just know that it is a possibility and be prepared for it.

2k is nothing compared with the other cars I have had ...they had potential problems in the area of 10 to 25k out of pocket if your warranty goes out. 2k is not bad at all....

If ur buying a used one, you'll probably want a lightweight fly wheel and upgraded clutch before long anyways, so i'd grab those parts and one of the solutions (Zspeed or Z1) and just do it all at once when you can

For what the car is, it's pretty inexpensive to upkeep. As stated above you have the CSC issue. The other thing most people won't mention is unlike some of the other high profile cars you mentioned above insuring them really aren't bad. When I cost compared insurance prior to purchase against SRT-8 Challengers and Shelby GT-350's insurance was about half, and a third of that for a Vet.
