Factory clutch
Hello nismo brothers.
I have an 09 I just picked up two weeks ago and already has the csc issue. Although the clutch doesn't stick to the ground the Clutch is spongy and not how it was when I first picked it up. Currently has 12k miles on it. I'm looking into different options. Working at a machine shop I asked around for some opinions. I showed my co worker who has a computer for a brain the z1 kit and he told me the stock hydraulic independent design is awesome but the issue at hand is the stress fractures. And not to stay away from the z1 fork and external design but look into the other options. I've seen plenty of success with the z speed and z1 kits but zspeed also makes a heavy duty csc that bolts right up without having to take out the clutch assembly. MY MAIN QUESTION What is our factory clutch. I can't seem to find in my searching what the factory clutch is in our cars. I read some where that it is a twin disk clutch but I'm not sure. If I do end up going with the HD csc there's an option that says it works with all single disk clutches and the other is for giken clutches. I've read most of the csc thread and just want a few opinions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Ritch7714; 07-18-2016 at 07:04 PM. |

I would call ZSpeed and tell them what your driving goals are and they'll hook you up with a package that includes a new clutch and their upgraded CSC
probably also want to get a new flywheel at the same time |

Well is the new clutch and flywheel package necessary for a car with only 12k on it? I dont plan to track it at all. I know it'll help but I just really wanna address the problem right now before it's too late.
