Anyone on here upgrade from 350 nismo to 370 nismo?

I'm selling my Porsche and decided to go back to a Nismo Z. My problem is that I can't decide if I want to by a nismo 350 or nismo

Default Anyone on here upgrade from 350 nismo to 370 nismo?

I'm selling my Porsche and decided to go back to a Nismo Z. My problem is that I can't decide if I want to by a nismo 350 or nismo 370. I used to have a z33 nismo that I tracked and loved! But when I owned a touring 370, I felt it didn't hold a candle to what the nismo was. I'm curious if anyone has upgraded from a z33 nismo to z34 nismo and what was your opinion???

I test drove a 350Z NISMO before I bought my 370Z NISMO. It was nice, but the 370Z just felt a little bit better.

I agree with CV. However with all the refinements and up grades from the 350 to the 370, I would go the 370. Good luck on your decision.

I can't speak for the Nismo models, but if base models are an indication, I was somewhat underwhelmed with the 370Z after driving my 350Z HR. The former was quicker, with noticeably better mid range torque, but my butt dyno wasn't immediately impressed. Is the 370Z a better car? Of course, it's better in every way. With that said, I would asume the 370Z Nismo is better than the 350Z Nismo.

Well I know what a 370 is like to daily drive. I owned a touring 370 and it was nice to daily drive but I was very disappointed with it when pushing it. This car will be driven once a month so daily driving doesn't really matter to me. I've looked at all the stats and the Nismo 370 barely has any difference in 1/4 mile and 0-60 than the 350. It's determined that the 350 has the better brakes even tho they are smaller. All the auto journalist say the 370 Nismo barely pulls a little more G than the 350 in the corners. But overall it seems that journalists say they preferred the feel of the 350 to the 370. I'm also seeing that Nismo 370 is ALOT more available than the 350, which I'm betting will shrink resale and rarity.

Good luck finding a nice example of either one. I can't stand the 2015 and up. They look like crap. Unmolested models are hard to find. I always find it funny when someone says it was modified with good taste. Those are the ugliest ones.

Yes... SO ugly that hoards of people on this forum are scrambling to convert their Zs to the new Nismo body kit.

I've driven both extensively, the nismo 370z def feels like an improvement.

Though I have to confess the 350z nismo is still my favorite just from a nismo fanboy and rarity stand point ..

Oh boy. Here we go. How this turned into pre vs post '15 issue is silly to me. The question was between the 350 and the 370 so OP - I went to the 350 forum and found this.

Not much of a difference. It boils down to your choice not anyone else's opinion. I have friends with 350's and they really like it. Lots of parts and when done right, it looks great. Their issue between their car vs the 370 varies -- mostly about the interior (fit/finish and the rear brace not as much in the way as in the 350) and the wide and low look that the 370 has and they like. Never went with handling discussions but many who drove both said the 350 was rawer than the 370 (this was also mentioned in the thread below). Interesting since I thought the 370 was raw.

I liked post 9 and 15. Good luck on your decision.
