Default FUEL GAUGE READINGS HELP!!!!! ... '11 Nismo

So i know there are many threads behind the inaccuracy of the fuel gauge on z34s but i only keep finding threads from years ago. My point being is that i want to hear some more recent responses from the community.

OKAY THEN, so last night i was driving around with my buddies (my nismo had half a tank of gas) so we drive pretty fast when we're all cruising together, did a few outruns here and there. So we decide to head to my friends house so we caravan our way over there.
WE COME to this turn and everybody hits it pretty fast, when i go to hit this LEFT HAND TURN i pressed on the gas (all of the assists were turned off) and my throttle stops midway through the turn, my revs drop, but then responded back normally in a fraction of a second. I was clueless on what had just happened and i was 5 houses away from my buddy's pad so i parked the car there and didnt turn her back on untill about 4 hours later.
ONCE i fired up the engine, all of my fuel dots were off and then the YELLOW TRIANGLE LIGHT with the exclamation mark (!) appeared. Then the screen below the fuel gauge started reading LOW FUEL with XXmiles left. I rushed to the gas station and filled her up untill the pump stopped (by the amount of fuel i pumped i could tell my gas tank was still roughly around halfway prior to refuel) still continued with the traingle light and low fuel warning. This morning it was the samething, went on a drive for about 10 mins still no change. Fired her up once more before bed and it continues. The tank is obviously full, the traingle ! light continues to be there, NONE of my fuel dots light up and the Low Fuel warning continues to peep every time i start the engine.

WHAT IS THIS WITCHERY!?!! PLEASE HELP DONT WANT TO GO TO THE STEALERSHIP!

I drive a 2011 Nismo with 40k miles...

Have you scanned it and, if so, did you find any codes?

Other threads have talked about FUEL STARVATION due to a fast turn and having the fuel shift to one side of the tank...

Indeed, but given your description (left hand turn), I was thinking it might be something else. I always start by looking for codes. If nothing else, codes (or the lack thereof) may help rule out particular issues.

Sounds like you had 2 issues. First one is a fuel starvation issue that caused the stumble. The next is one of your fuel senders has taken a crap causing it not to read any fuel on your gauge. Yes, you have 2 fuel senders, one fuel sender for each side of the tank.

If it has, in fact, crapped out, then yes.

F#$& man.. She drove like a charm to work today (35 mile trip) I even launched her at a light and went a steady 100mph for about 5 mins on the highway. Still no fuel gauge dots, warning light on

If it's a full tank and still reading empty yeah, fuel sending unit dead. Nissan's whole fuel tank systems in general are pretty bad.

It sends a signal, proportional to tank level, to either the ECM or BCM (details are in the FSM, if you are curious).

This is an old nissan problem. MY 04 G35 had this issue. As others have stated, it is most likely the fuel sending unit(s) in the gas tank.
