I don't think they are. The vin # would tell you though. Typically you can find vin # break downs online.

The 370Z Nismos are no longer individually numbered. That happened a couple years ago when they expanded the Nismo edition to models other than the 370Z.

The VIN will tell you whether it is a legit Nismo. Or a knowledgeable individual could probably tell you with a careful inspection.

The nismo logo on the tach, red stitching, and of course the seats are all unique to the nismo edition and not easy or cheap the change.

I guess I should have clarified when I said "a careful inspection" I was referring to the earlier Nismo editions. As mentioned, the 2015 Nismos have Nismo plastered all over the interior now. They are much easier to differentiate from non-Nismos, but a thorough inspection would still be necessary to 100% confirm a legit Nismo without using the VIN.

True Nismos have the VIN badge literally on the inside of every single body panel as well. They definitely don't mess around making sure the true Nismo's aren't mistaken.

To my knowledge, all 15' Nismo's have the red stripe on the mirror, and every one I've seen in person and online has had it.

Edit: Stock 15' Nismo's, that is.

You are questioning the validity of your Nismo just because the mirror stripes are gone?

All 2015 Nismos came with the red "decal" stripes on the door mirrors. If yours are missing then the previous owner took them off.

There are so many parts on the Nismo that make it stand out from the base models: front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, Nismo badge all over the place, different rear wing, Rays special wheels, exhaust, red Recaro seats with airbags, dark grey interior trim pieces instead of silver, Nismo badge inside, different tachometer, Nismo body dampers, Nismo strut tower brace, and probably more that I can't recall.

There was a thread on this forum where you could decipher your VIN number. Search for that if you want more info.

It would be pretty easy to peel those stripes off the mirrors...

I was disappointed that it was just a sticker. Dual piece shell would have been cool.
