First and foremost thing is an engine oil cooler, if it doesn't already have one..

What are you planning on doing with this car, daily, autocross, drag, track, show, weekend toy?

My Z is my daily, and I have FI Catback exhaust on the way. As of now I don't plan on tracking or racing it. Is an oil cooler something I should consider since I'm upgrading the exhaust?

Where you live at. I would think so. If you're planning to run the car hard at times. Most definitely.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I quoted your post about remote starters and how it should be one of the first mods for thread reference. It was not a direct response to you but to your post for the benefit of the OP who wanted information.

My personal opinion the oil cooler is a must on this car if you plan on tracking, or autocrossing, or if you live in one of the southern states, other wise you probably can live with out it.

As for daily driving non-racing setup, I really liked my Swift-R lowering springs, if you aren't in the market for coils. The Stillen 3rd Gen cold air intakes are nice too. Once you get done with all your bolt ons I would look at the UpRev tuner.

I run hankooks 275 35 in the front and 305 30 in the rear along with running a tad bit of camber, zero toe in the rear, and that has really helped in lengthening the life of the tires though you do get a little bit of road pull specially on bad roads. I'm at 51k and just about to do my 5th set of tires, though some of those tires did see the track which didn't help their life span.

Another item to look at is your diff bushings. They have a tendency of giving up the ghost early in life sense they are liquid fill. Z1 sells a nice Whiteline bushing kit for this with the Nismo diff cover that has the cooling fins I would recommend if you've had a bushing failure.

Ok add Sprint Booster to my list. Installed mine the other day and I must say Sprint Booster rocks! I wish I would have bought it 2 years ago! Instant throttle response, no more lag trying to get up to speed from a complete stop. I can pass cars on the freeway at ease. Really increases drivability and enjoyment of the car. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an immediate difference in how your car drives without getting a tune.

Im putting on injen cai's as my first just because I cant leave anything stock.... Also just took my car to my shop and their engineer is going to build me a carbon fiber intake manifold. He did one for the 350z so it will be done next spring :) na is so much easier
