It's that plastic/fiber crap. It is ridiculous on the price. It is for the aerodynamics. I hit something on the interstate that took mine out. It fell down and dragged on the ground grinding a big chunk off. That's how I know it is that fiber plastic crap.

Yeah, it's marked up because its how nissan, as well as every other mfg, makes money from insurance companies. A very small front end collision will cost 2-3k to fix with oem parts. |

If you rip it off or comes off (as many of ours has), its a perfect opportunity to upgrade to the Zspeed undertray. Makes for very quick oil changes, and never having to worry about this crap again.
