Not sure if this is this place to post but....
I've looked and searched but can't seem to find a thread. I believe only the '14 model came with the bottom stripes? Any who, I liked the idea at first.... Not so much now. So after looking at them closely it appears that they're only vinyl? I'm not so sure on it but trying to see what options are before sending off to the painter and matching it to the rest of the car. (Car is Magnetic Black with Graphite Grey? front, sides, and rear)

I thought it was just a stick on... Did you try preling it off slowly and carefully? Ive done this on a 350 before... The sooner the better too, as it starts to weather it.. Ive seen it left on and eventually baked into the paint by the sun. After years of course

Do you mean the Nismo model?
Because my 2014 Sport touring has no stripes. |

I was under the impression that the red stripe was tape and the grey was actually painted.
|
By the way, the place for this would be the exterior and interior section, or the NISMO section.
|
Interesting... Just curious to know/see what others have done with it
|
Thus the Nismo section, more fish there.

I have a PW 14 Nismo, and after inspecting the area/lines between the white and gunmetal bottom, this is what I discovered. On the side skirts, the gunmetal area overlaps the white, while the front and rear bumper it's the opposite.. the white overlaps the gunmetal. Which means it's not a vinyl decal because that would make the white bumpers vinyl. So I'm pretty sure it's paint, but I guess if you really want to find out, try pulling a section off in an inconspicuous area like the fender wells.
The red stripes are definitely vinyl decals. |

I did something different, I added more red to the bottomhttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...12d8010082.jpg

All the red stripes are stickers and they peel right off.

ghotnit - I more so mean the grey areas at the bottom of the car, but I think I'll just try and match the wheel color I'm planning to get to the grey and it'll maybe make it pop more.

Yeah the Aero parts are grey and they match the mirrors and the wheels. I also painted the Head light bezel to match and the carbon fiber door handles are grey.

I actually like the red accent, wished they started them in 2012 |
Ive had both versions actually.. a 2013 370 NISMO all Pearl White. And now the 370 NISMO 2014, Pearl White with Grey accents. I didn't like the accents at all when I got it. But they grew on me, and this Version actually has attained way more looks and WOW that's a bad *** ride type comments than the pure white model I had. I like the clear distinction of the accents that clearly shows what year it is, and some actually go out and mod/upgrade these features, tail light and kit underneath exhaust etc. I see different models/yrs here and there, but never seen a 2014 w/accents in Abq yet but mine so far. I kinda like that.

It's vinyl. Just in case I want to take it off in future, it'll be easy. Adds a little more pop to the car, esp PW color Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I can't remember brand/type, but I remember it comes in specific width and length. So you have to get what's available, not what you need. I ended up getting a lot more than I need, to be safe.. 4 in width X 50 ft length. Oh, and there're various reds, I got dark red to match as close to the Nismo red. I paid around $85. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...0075c4e63b.jpg My inspiration was from this concept http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...0b983173e1.jpg If you want to purchase OEM stripes, prepare to pay https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart...e=NIS370&CA=25 I was saving the remainder of my roll for future use, but if you want it, $50 shipped it's yours. Still 40 feet 2 in left. Just an option for you. LMK, good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
