370z nismo bumper clips
Can someone who has a nismo 370z post a picture of the inside of their wheel well? Specifically where the 3 clips are for the fender liner at the front of the wheel? I think I have the wrong size clips and want to see what ya'll have for clips there?
Many thanks. |
You mean this? OEM Fender Liner, Bumper, Body Trim Clip 09321
|
That COULD be it but the 3 holes on the nismo fender liner just don't seem that small. I have those clips currently in the 3 holes but their loose. one popped out the other day and lost it on the road..

The fender liners on the nismo attach to the undertray via means of 3 clips (perhaps screws i'm not sure) just in front of the wheel but the clips don't seem to be quite doing the job which leads me to believe i have the incorrect clip or missing screws there...

Weird. They seem fine on mine.

Take a look here:http://www.the370z.com/nismo-370z/94...er-lining.html
It appears this guy has 3 screws there. I'm curious - did he put those there cause he was having issues or are the supposed to be there? You have a nismo and have clips there, not screws? |

I was thinking you meant the upper holes, which definitely attach via those push retainers I linked to. The bottom part uses some other sort of fastener which appears to be broken on mine. To remove the undertray however, there are just a bunch of bolts (quite a handful actually) and 9 of those same expandable retainers; 3 of them on each side and 3 in the center directly underneath the engine.

Sorry yeah, I meant the lowest 3 fasteners on the fender liner that face the front of the wheel. They're plastic push type fasteners on yours? not screws?

The 3 holes in front of the wheel are all good. Those are the typical push-pin plastic clip. It's the small triangular shaped plastic piece off to the side in front of the wheel as in the mentioned article above where the guy was "requesting pictures" as well. You'll see where they have what appear to be rivets, I have small little plastic rivets. I think they're supposed to be rivets, however, in the bottom he has what looks like a philips (star headed) screw. Wondering what he has behind that to grab the screw?
