2015 Nismo Seats - No Quick Way to Move the Back?
Is it just me, or is there no way to quickly move the seatback forward on the Nismo to access the storage cubby behind it?
As far as I could tell, the Nismo seat just has the knob which you have to turn (and turn and turn and turn!) to move the seat back forward. The base cloth seats, on the other hand, seem to have a lever that lets you quickly flip them forward. If that's correct, what do you Nismo owners do to access the storage area behind the seats? Do you just use the lever underneath the front of the seat to slide the whole seat forward? http://images.cars.com/supersized/DM...15N0700/19.jpg http://images.cars.com/supersized/DMI/2266/1597/09.jpg |
You are correct no quick release on the Nismo Recaro seats. Do you really need to use that tiny cubby behind it anyway????

If it's that big of a deal I'm sure someone on here will gladly trade you their non-Nismo seats for yours. :roflpuke2:

Okay, thanks. As for using it, the Z is not exactly overflowing with storage space, so it seems like you kind of need to use every available spot. :p Besides, it seems like a good place for sticking a briefcase or laptop bag. |
stock recaro sportster's have a quick release on the back of the headrest area. where the holes for the seatbelt harness would go through. dont think the nismo's come with this:

Yeah sort of miss the release from my DC2 Recaros... mostly over it now, though.
