One question: how is the handling? Specifically I am wondering if things are rock solid or off a bit resulting in some shimmying at speed (60-80mph).
I know quality hub-centric spacers should not throw off the balance but need to know your experience.

Things are rock solid.
After the spacer install, I did have to have my wheels rebalanced. Not sure if this is the case for everyone, but I had harmonic balancing issues on my first drive (steering wheel vibration at 50mph, then nothing, then more vibration at 70mph, etc). I got mine done at Gran Turismo East in Atlanta. Incredible service, and even better work. I can literally let go of the wheel at 90mph and the car will stay dead straight for miles.
