2014 or 2015 same cost which one!?

It's not costing me anything I like the rims and look of the 2014. However anything better about the 2015 both are new no tech package of it was you and it wasn't costing additional which would you choise. I don't like the rims of the 2015 and how it has no spoiler really but I do like the body kit. Just looking for some opinions.

Thanks Nef

2015 no doubt. I get so many compliments on it. The Recaros alone make the car.

speedfreek 04-02-2015 03:45 PM

Changing the rims wheels will be cheaper than trying to get a set of those Recaro seats.

So if you like everything on the 15 except the wheels then get it and buy new wheels. Can add a spoiler later as well.

I don't have a 2015 Nismo around me to actually look at these seats your referring to are standard with the Nismo base? What makes them so special? I find the seats in the 2013 to be pretty comfortable.

These things hug you like you are still in the womb. They are half leather and half alcantara. They are standard on 2015 Nismo. Take a look at the pic. Nuff said.

looks like it will get dirty  I like the black and red stitching a little better on the 14s but I do see what you mean that does look more comfortable.

Oh and speedfreak if it was just the rims then I would say ya I could always trade later I'm sure someone would want these over their 14 rims just like I like the 14s better etc. to each their own.

The spoiler though... it's built into the hatch and I was reading that the hatch had to be redesigned to have this fit or maybe it was a review either what it's built into the damn thing so it's not like I can switch hatches?

Last I'm wondering if my Takeda Attack will fit it like the 09-14s not that I like it that much but I just bought it like 105 miles on it -.-

SS_Firehawk 04-03-2015 07:12 AM

I will personally deliver my Nismo seats to you if you buy a '15 Nismo and don't want the seats. ;) I'm not kidding.

need4speed255 04-03-2015 08:50 AM

Get what you like.

The '15 Nismo also has the dark gray metallic trim inside the car instead of the silver.

You really need to look at the car or take your time and study all of the pics you can find.

speedfreek 04-03-2015 09:01 AM

I would deliver my Touring seats to you for the '15 Nismo seats. They are all black and I can make the stitching red. Just so you know you have options. Me and SS_Firehawk are here to help.

Note: I am only around 6+ hours away.

NefariousZ34 04-03-2015 03:56 PM

Thanks but no.. I would be keeping those. Just saying looks like they would get dirty / wear overtime.. It's really just asthetics and a gear ratio change right minus the seats... I've read reviews been on the forums can't seem to find a substantial difference except the ratio and seats? Same car different looks is what I'm getting.

Anyone else have opinions or advice? Does anyone know if the cold air intakes will fit the new bumper like the gen 3 or my takeda attack?

CoralZ 04-04-2015 07:45 PM

I believe the Stillen Gen 3 would need a slight mod to fit the 2015. That being said I was told by a reputable tuner you don't need an aftermarket CAI on the 2015. Won't make much difference compared to the cost. Unless you like it for aesthetics only.

Not so reputable after that , the G3s add power. none of the Zs need intakes as they all have them, the G3s just work better. Not sure at all what you mean by that

the 15 nismo =same car as 09+ nismo (minus body kit, wheels, seats, (some interior stuff ) .

I do like the sounds and little added power of Cold Air intakes. Granted it's not much power but sound wise you can hear it. I have to agree with David, a well designed / placed cold air intake you do see a small difference in higher RPMs. With that being said I already bought the Takeda Attack cai tryinging something different wish I bought the G3's but oh well.

Thanks that's what I was thinking, I'm just wondering how much of a change was made to the bumper it seems they shortened the front bumper a little I'm not sure if there is room for the Cold Air Intakes fitting previous models. Lastly I was reading a lot of people don't like the changes like the rims and spoiler delete. In 2016 we are suppose to be looking at the Z35 so will the 2015 hold it's value since it's the odd man out of the Nismo Z34s...
