You can find the invoice price using Edmunds. You can buy below invoice, because there is a holdback. However they're not usually as willing to dip into that, if they're a dealership that gets a lot of traffic and/or the car isn't something they haven't been able to move.
Also you have to watch out for the shenanigans in the Finance Office. That invoice price doesn't look so good when they add in the anti-theft etching that "all of their cars come with" plus the "advertising fees" and other things. Just saying... Just because you nail down a good price on the car doesn't mean one dealer's OTD price is better than the other. But you can *definitely* buy for invoice, on the NISMO, with minimal hassle. |

All dealers do that... Shady ones... Which is most of them.
There's one "name" that owns a Nissan, Ford, Subaru etc. dealership here in Indy and they do that crap... "I don't want the anti-theft etching for $389..." "Well it's already on the car, so..." Just keep insisting you don't want it and they'll take it off. The other Nissan place, where I get my service done, doesn't really screw around like that, and I've bought 2 Z's from them as a result. No "etching" or nickel-and-dime BS add-ons and they post "internet" prices that are usually at or slightly below invoice. The finance guy asks if you want GAP or extended warranty or paint protectant *once* and you say no and that's that. No hard sell. Dealerships really should get the idea that people who think they got a fair deal will come back. But most of them don't. |

^^^^ Who are these dealers you speak of? Shady and not so shady. I am in Indy as well and currently trying to make a deal with the one that starts with an "H".
