2015 Nismo exhaust is made by HKS

I know Calsonic did the OE mufflers for the base models, but was unaware that they outsourced the Nismo rear section.

The car in test videos sounds different to me. I need to check a 2015 in person, but I'm afraid to go look because I might buy it and my wife might kill me.

Yeah if I'm going to go look at a 2015 I better do it now before they bring back 0% financing.

And, my guess is, approximately same sound too.

They can't change things around too much because that will potentially affect noise levels, emissions, power ratings, etc.

Check out the 2015. Went with a friend to see one last night and it sounds much better stock than my 2011 ever did stock. You actually hear the exhaust in cabin

So for the 15s it's regular pipes, the can is the only diffrence

i couldnt swap my F.I non res over fast enough when i traded up to a 2015 nismo. i couldn't believe how quiet the nismo is! like prius quiet!

Yea its different bro we have the same ride though lol but they boosted this nismo with 20hp

No it's only the 2015 nismo and up are the only ones that have the hks exhaust and produces 20hp thats y I haven't changed my exhaust the rest of the exhaust I've seen so far only produce under 20hp

I'm thinking these companies all get their source from the same OEM. They just slap on a badge on it and calls it their own. Just like most products out in this world.
