New Roadster Buyer/owner to be !
Gentlemen,
I'm a new member, but not new to sports cars or to Z cars. I owned my first 240Z (74 orange of course) back in 1980. Boy did I LOVE that car. Stock all the way. How sweet it was Since then I've owned 2 300ZTT's and now a brand new 370Z Roadster!! Still awaiting delivery. Dealer tells me I'll be the first special order Roadster for St. Louis region because of their allocation being so much larger. We are blessed to have one of the top 3 dealers in the US for Z cars right in our back yard. Soon to be proud owner of a Platinum Graphite Touring Roadster with Sports&Nav. Wine top and leather. CAN'T WAIT. They tell me early to mid Dec. Being built this month (OCT09). I'm more excited that a kid in a candy store and the store is CLOSED !! I'm in my early 60's, semi retired and this (NO JOKE) will be my 45th car. I went back and checked my insurance carrier's records. Been with them since I was 22yrs old. Talk about loyal. Crazy too! Wondering how much after market stuff I'll want to do to this machine. I'll start getting smart soon enough. Don't have empty pockets though. Wondering if there is a computer chip on the 370 motor yet? Trying to remember who that guy was in CA who was on the Nissan truck racing team as a consultant that produced chips for 300TT engines? HELP. Does he make them for 370 motors. If so, how expensive to convert? Blessings, ZCarCrazy |

Congrats and Welcome! Nice choice on color, can't wait to see picts when you take delivery.
As far as the chipping goes, I think there is an Accessport available for the 370Z. I ran a Stage 1 map on my WRX, with an exhaust and intake, and it was a great improvement over stock. I have not done anything aftermarket to my 370Z yet. I guess I am finding it to still be plenty quick, whereas I always felt like the WRX could be faster. Wow, 45 cars! Any memorable/noteworthy vehicles besides the Z's? |

Where do you live? I'm in Manchester. Been there pretty much since I moved here in 1978. Waiting is killing me but I'm very picky when it comes to ordering new cars. I want it exactly the way I want it. With AT, Sports&Nav Touring it's MSRP is 48K ! Can you believe it? My son's employer has a program with Nissan. I'm getting the car 3% below dealer invoice + freight. Still around 44k. If I didn't have a bunch of equity from the sale of my 08 Infinity EX35 I would not be getting this car. But at 62, I figure I have 10 good years of driving left HA. Seriously, I'm REALLY looking forward to driving this car. NOT IN THE SNOW though! I'll use my wife's front wheel drive :-) Peace !

Have fun. Great choice. Crank up the heater and the heated seats and drop the top.
