I'm picking up my first Nissan and my first convertible next weekend. It's a silver 2010 Touring Sport 6MT with Nav. I'm super excited and can't wait to drive her home. :driving: I've been trying to absorb as much information as possible. Thank goodness for forums like this one and all you guys who post and contribute to it. I've already been thinking about a few mods, rims being at the top of the list. I like the 2011+ rims, but it looks like there are many choices out there. I'd also like to add the illuminated kick plates and a back up camera. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
This is probably the most excited I've ever been about getting a car, besides my very first one, a 1967 Mercury Cougar. But that first car could have been a Pinto or a Gremlin and I would still have been stoked. More pics to come next week! |
Congrats and try to get some sleep!

Looks great!

Congrats on the Roadster daZilva! I agree that the anticipation and excitement was unbearable for me as well prior to receiving the vehicle. Welcome to the Vert Club!

Congrats, and welcome to the forum. Check out the wheels and tire section for some ideas on where to go with your rims. My personal favorites are the Vossen CV2s. There's a lot of nice wheels out there that look great on the Z though. Good luck and enjoy it! The Z has been the coolest car I've ever owned and you'll love it I'm sure.

Congrats and enjoy!
Great choice of cars! You will love it! I added a Fast Intentions CAT back exhaust and cold air intake system to mine. She is now wicked fast, but that is how I like her. These upgrades are a bit pricey but really change the performance of the car.
There are some other subtle things you can add like replacing the black plug just below the license plate frame with a back up light (see link to pic below). This black plug is a fog light in Canada, but in the US the older Zs have a blank plug in them. I believe the 2014's actually now have the light in lieu of the black plug. All of these things require some mechanical expertise or professional installation. The accessories for the Z are pretty extensive! Enjoy! Here is a link to the back up light that I was referring to above, it cost about $60 not including installation. Really adds impact to the back of your vehicle. If you are handy or you have someone who is handy available, the install took about an hour. http://i.ytimg.com/vi/eAl4dHQWE6M/hqdefault.jpg http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...t-install.html |
Great choice! Enjoy!

I totally relate to your sense of wanting the car. I'm months away and dying thinking about getting my 370 and gets to me every day. I hope to join you at the end of the year and enjoy the same exhilaration.
