Happy new owner of a 11' Roadster
 

Hello everyone:hello:. Been searching for a 2nd vehicle for several months. Daily driver is a 2012 Frontier Pro-4x crew cab and wanted something sporty and nimble to drive on the weekends. Was originally looking at a 14' Subaru WRX, but I stumbled upon a 12' 370z Coupe and I was hooked after the test drive. Wanted the Roadster option and a 2 week long search ensued. Eventually found a 2011 Brilliant Silver Base model with Katzkin Leather upgrade and 27K on the odometer. Knew from the moment I test drove that it was the right vehicle. Now gutting the base stereo/speakers for a upgrade to a Kenwood head unit/Infinity component speakers/trunk mounted 10" Sub with a MTX 704x amp powering the system. It has been a very interesting install and I now know this car "intimately". Gonna keep her stock, as she is plenty fast for me. Already replace the limp antenna with a stubby. Only other upgrade might be a Z1 oil cooler in the near future. BTW, great Forum that you guy's have here. Might see a few of you at Z Nationals in a couple months:tup:.

Congrats. Very nice car. I like the color. Thanks for mentioning what upgrades and mods you did or are going to do. I'm getting a silver 2010 Roadster Touring Sport Nav 6MT next weekend and I'm already thinking about what changes I'd like to make. I bet that stereo is going to sound great and you won't have any problems hearing it with the top down. That's something I'm wondering about with mine. Was the antenna swap an easy install? Where'd you get the stubby?

Our cars are twins! I also used to have a Frontier ('08) Crew as a DD. I moved to a Civic to save on gas (will also be driven by the kids once they are old enough). :)
