My 370Z Roadster (Black Cherry)
 

Over the years I have owned a 240Z, 280Z, and a 280ZX Turbo. after a 20 year hiatus, I am back, and gald to be! I purchased a 2010 Black Cherry, touring, automatic, and Nav with 8000 miles. This car started out as being a test to see if I would like a small sporty convertable. If I did, plan was to buy a 911 Carrera. I can can tell you that after 2000 miles, most of which with the top down, the 911 distance thought. I not only like the styling of the 370Z better, I like the extra cash in my pocket. I do have one question for the fourm... the headrests seem a little floppy when the seat is not tight up against the back. is this normal???:happydance:

The top down trip through the mountains I just did has forever put the "Why get a convertible?" question to rest with me.

Let the mods begin! Aftermarket exhaust is fantastic w the top down btw

I notice the headrests move a little in the wind as well.

One of mine was actually broken internally and was fixed but it still wiggles in the wind.

Headrests flex: anti-whiplash feature. You can see the engineering cutaway of them in Nissan advertising. IIRC the 2011 dealer brochure for the Z has this.

On my maiden voyage back from an out of state dealership where we picked ours up, I kept thinking something was wrong too. Nope :)

Congrats on the new ride.beautiful color btw! I think we have traveled similar paths.... i only had the 280zx and a 17 year hiatus....but i drolled over the 240 my neighbor had after he returned from the army. Its one of those cars that you just cant walk away from. That old hs sweetheart. Lol
