Third Z: 2012 Monterey Blue Roadster (Pics Added)
 

Well I was previously in a 2010 370z coupe and the local dealer made me an offer I could not refuse. Now I am driving a 2012 Monterey Blue Roadster. Picked the car up yesterday and just had my tint put on today, 15% all around.

I will say the tint was a major pain in the *** for the installer but he got it done and it looks great.

Also ordered my 3 inch short antenna since the existing one does not cut it.

All in all I am in Z number 3 and could not be happier.

Pics of my old ride and my new ride along with the ones from today's tint job.

I like the lines of the coupe better when the top is up but the roadster takes the lead when the top comes down. All in all I am happy to pick up my third Z and stay within the Z family.

Monterey Blue was definitely not my first color choice, but man is this color impressive in person. Pictures do not really do it justice IMO.

if i were to get a vert, that would be my color choice. looks great with the black top

welcome to the MB club! I was thinking about getting a vert and throwing a Nismo body kit on it.

The roadster is definitely a huge upgrade for what I use my cars for. I am not into tracking my vehicles and the power output is plenty for me. The only downside so far is the color. It is way more noticeable then my BS coupe and i'm afraid that may be a bad thing.

Yes red would be even more noticeable, however I did get stopped for "not obeying the posted speed limit" cops words not mine while taking the car in to get tinted yesterday. The sad thing is that I was not going overly fast, 37 in a 30, and was keeping up with the flow of traffic.

I got pulled over all the time in the 80's with my black Camaro. Once on a major 4 lane with bumper to bumper traffic, the trooper almost wrecked cutting through the grass median. I still don't understand how I was going any faster than everybody else. Another time the cop told me he like my Camaro and wanted to buy one, when he gave me my ticket I said "You ain't going to buy mine so don't be so jealous." I had nothing to lose he had already given me a ticket.:icon23:
