NEW Alex Kiesl from Stuttgart / Germany
Hi everyone,
my name is Alexander Kiesl and I'm from Stuttgart / Germany... another geman guy in your forum . I bought my Z Roadster four months ago and already did some work on it but I never introduced myself as I thought "naaa, only if I have some pics from my car... otherwise it sucks" . I wrapped my Z in matte white directly after I pruchased it. I must say I'm a silent member since I have my Z and I used your DIY section pretty often! Great stuff! So I managed to paint my headlights black with a nice white ring-accent, I installed my Stillen G3 Intake, wrapped my taillights with a tinted foil, installed the SmartTop module and the rear camera and swapped the stupid clutch spring... all easy thanks to you and your DIY . Next projects are: UpRev and a new exhaust system. Besides my Z I own a supercharged Mazda MX-5 (~240hp) and a 2011 VW Touareg V6 for family transportation. I work as a commercial director and I own a postproduction company here in Stuttgart where we create all the visual effects for our spots. So if someone is curious what exactly I do: directing website: Alex & Steffen postproduction website: unexpected And here some pics from my Z: |

I'm usually not a fan of white wheels, but they look pretty good on your car

Wow that is a very nice looking Z. I usually don't like white wheels, but they fit your design very well. Welcome!

Tnks for the photos! Was wondering recently what an all white wrap would like . Do you have pictures of 'before' so that we can gauge the difference more.
I like the strip but perhaps it might be better if the 370Z was at the back of the strip rather than towards the front. Dont like the wheels...sorry... But..Very nice.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm quite happy as well with my Z so far .
And yes, as there are hundreds... thousands of Porsche and Mercedes here in Stuttgart it is very refreshing to drive a Z . It is an almost exotic car over here and you don't believe how many people stop and stare at my Z as they don't know what it is . For the stripes and the rims: I photoshopped my silver Z into flat white and I tried different designs for the stripe and the V's of the rims until I was happy with it. A local car wrapped custom made the strips and the Vs for me. Cool thing: it really looks like my photoshopped version... even better . And no worries... if you don't like the white rims, stripes or whatever on my Z... we all have a different taste which is good... as otherwise all Zs would look the same . |

Thanks a lot for your nice words .
I'm also very happy with it and I'm more than looking forward to the UpRev and the new exhaust system. But I save it for 2012... otherwise I'm done too early and there is nothing left to do anymore... naaa... that's impossible . There is always something to do . |
