Welcome, I'm from Long Island as well. I kinda disagree with the driving to fast comment. In the Dix Hills burbs its pretty quiet especially at night and we have long stretches of service roads that I've been gifted with since I moved out here in high school.

I live in Copaigue and work in lake success. Anyone frequent the OBI sunday morning car/motorcycle show? I try to get there every week.
