Hi 370 folks
What a great site! So much love here for the new Z.
Just bought my new beauty last week, a diamond black 370Z MT roadie. I haven't stop beaming yet. It's a beast. I'll certainly be coming back to this forum frequently to tune in on all things 370Z. Only made one mod so far...the Aussie models don't have iphone capability unlike some US/Canadian models. We do however have an RCA and a 12V supply in the centre console. Apple sell an RCA and USB lead which I bought. Coupled that with a very low profile plug in 12V USB adapter which goes into the socket in the console and run the cable down the centre tunnel to a windscreen mount just to the window side of the dashboard. It sits there fairly well hidden and the only hassle is to plug the iphone plug into the phone as it slips into the holder which is not a major drama. Getting a Swissvax paint/window/plastic and leather treatment next week whilst the car is still new. Should be awesome. Please mail me folks with any queries on how the 370Z goes down in Australia. Sounds good mate. I paid $68k brand new out of the box and no extras.
The Swissvax range is a Swiss collection of car protection products. You can pay silly money like $1350 for a pot of car wax but also they sell great stuff at affordable prices. I am getting the leather cleaner/protector, tyre treatment, cleaning fluid pre wax, Samurai Wax (specilally made for Japanese paintwork) and a bunch of other chemicals/wipes. Should take about a day to do and months of glass like shine when finished. I had the 1000km service today and all ship shape. I can't fault this motor it's just drop dead awesome. Good luck with yours |

Yes Red...all Aussie cars are a total rip off on price. Taxes are major and people will pay! The only upside is that the resale value stays high in line with sales price.

Ewe... , your 370Z down under actually costs (OTD) just slightly over what we pay in Canada . Those Americans have it good >> I guess volume counts> If you ask those owners in Singapore ,you will be shocked how much they have to pay to get a Z!
