Hopefully tomorrow will be sunshine. As for the price, if you're going to go 2/3rds of the way, might as well go for the whole thing

Hey, you traded in the Miata for the Z?! Miata is a bit underpowered, but otherwise it's a sweet little Sports car! Pity!

I did the Miata on a 2-year lease to see if I liked the convertible thing. Both I and the wife love the little car. Quite the go-kart! Very easy to toss the back end out through turns (must turn off DSC). With the lease coming due we both wanted to either buy the Miata or some other convertible so I made the push for the 370z. Right now I have both for a couple months and I still like the Miata, but there's really no comparing the two.

I actually considered buying out the lease and putting a turbo on the Miata. The NCs can get about 260 bhp at the wheels with a good turbo system...

I do miss the little Miata -- great, tossable car that was much more capable and serious than most gave it credit for being. It was light and responsive and fit like a glove.

The Z, however, is in a different world. This is a real sports car, with the power and refinement to match. The Miata was a go-kart by comparison. Go-karts are fun, but a Z grabs you by the balls.

Great choice. Enjoy!
Amazing that many of us have the MX-5 to Z experience -- I went from an 09 MX-5 to a 10 ZR -- no regrets (with maybe the exception of the bath I took trading in a 9 month old Mazda with 2K).....

Congrats Mize on the new ZR!
