2016 roadsta

Finally got myself a roadster! Owned a couple of coupes. Haven't had a chance to get much seat time yet, but that will change soon.
Where are the BOSE subs located in the roadster?

Hi

Good choice on going with a roadster, looks great. There isn't an actual sub. in the roadster. The specs say 8 speakers with two subwoofers. They are the 2 speakers mounted on each outside behind the seats facing inwards.

Actually this is incorrect. The subwoofers are located in the panel separating the trunk from the top stowage area. You can see them by removing the forward trim panels in the trunk, or by removing the vinyl liner in the stowage area (only accessible if the tonneau cover is open and the rear roof bow is lifted.) They utilize this area for the airbox, but they're not extremely effective.

Thanks for that info,my apologies for putting out bad information. I had looked a lot & couldn't find them anywhere. I did find them with your help. I can't see how they would be any good at all located in that position.

Welcome to the forum. I too, have a 16 roadster. Am impatiently waiting for spring as it is sitting in the garage all covered up. I am very much looking to get it out and start enjoying it.
